Welcome to the 7th Annual Science, Technology & Engineering Day for 10th, 11th and 12th grade students in Loudoun County Public Schools!
Held at The George Washington University Virginia Science & Technology Campus in Ashburn, VA, GW faculty and graduate students will lead you
through a day of workshops designed to illustrate different areas of academic study, research, and careers in the fields of science, technology, and engineering.
They will demonstrate how engineers conduct research, amplify how
technology has changed and melded with the fields of health science and engineering, and demonstrate how both contribute to different careers such as nursing, cyber security, and engineering.
Exciting and challenging workshops have
been developed by GW faculty and graduate students to introduce these careers using hands-on experiments
and demonstrations.
You and your classmates can select workshops to match your interests. Please specify your first, second, third, and fourth choice workshops. Each student will be assigned to three workshops. Final workshop assignments will be sent to the schools before the event date.
Follow your dreams or ambitions through any of the workshops offered — we welcome you and your teachers to the Seventh Annual Science, Technology, and Engineering Day for Loudoun County Public Schools!
