ASHBURN, VA—The George Washington University Virginia Campus is hosting the Loudoun Photography Club (LPC) exhibit Open Spaces through Sept. 17, 2009 in the Research 1 Gallery Lounge, 20101 Academic Way, Ashburn, VA.

LPC was formed five years ago to fill the growing need for local photographers to meet, compete, and learn by sharing photographic expertise.  Although the youngest of several Northern Virginia clubs, LPC is the fastest growing. Membership has grown from 10 members in 2004 to now more than 60 members who consistently win ribbons and recognition in local and regional photography exhibits and have published their work in national publications. The club meets twice a month at the GW Virginia Campus.

Participating photographers include: Elizabeth Anderson, Mary Austin-Keller, Geff Bourke, David Crooks, Cara Ewen, Yulan Guo, Robert Hayward, Randy Ihara, Ross Konigsburg, Danielle Koontz, Berin Loritsch, Mike McCaffrey, Michelle Moomey, Kevin Parks, Tim Pennington, Schuyler Richardson, Caitlin Ruby, Denise Silva, Charles Walker, and Dan Ward.
