How to Approach a Foundation The George Washington University Virginia Science & Technology Campus Library April 25, 2013, 9:30–10:30 a.m. Free grants workshop for nonprofit organizations. Pre-registration required for each session! Learn how to build relationships with foundation prospects and prepare for calls and meetings with funders. From initial contact to getting funded, following field-tested best practices will increase your chances of getting the grant. This workshop will teach you how to initiate contact with potential funders, plan calls and meetings, including site visits and effectively communicate with funders during the grant process.
